High School Academics


Rosslyn Academy’s High School offers a full college preparatory curriculum in the American system. Courses are given in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and World Languages (French and Spanish). In addition, there are courses in Art, Music, Sports, computers, and Bible. Rosslyn Academy offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses in eight subjects – Biology, Calculus, English, French, Physics, Spanish, U.S. History, and World History. The High School experience includes in the required12th Grade Senior Social Studies class which covers Government, Economics, Current events, and culminates in a 12-15 page research paper and 30-minute multi-media presentation.

There are two sections of Grades 9 through 12 with a total of about 200 students and about 20 teachers. Students take seven classes, with the core curriculum being year-long and many electives being one semester in length.
